In its avowed determination
to reduce crime wave, the
Ibrahim Idris led
administration has provided
logistics support to the
Security Agencies to
assist them in the discharge
of their constitutional
responsibilities.
Towards this end, the
Government provided the
Nigeria Police with 11
Peugeot
504 Station Wagon Cars
equipped with State of the
Art Communication
equipment. The Military was
also recently given two new
Pick-up
Vans to assist them in their
collaborative effort with
the Police Force.

In crime prevention, a
cordial working relationship
exists between the State
Government and all the
Security Agencies including
the SSS. The Government is
also encouraging organized
vigilante groups in their
collaborative role with the
Nigeria Police to combat
crime. A brand new Pick-up
Van was donated to the
Anyigba Vigilante to assist
them in their efforts
towards the attainment of a
crime-free society. |
