state has the highest concentration
of strategic solid mineral deposit
in Nigeria. The deposits include –
Iron Ore, Coal, Marble, Feldspar,
Limestone, Quartz, Gold, Dolomite,
Gemstone, Kaolin, Mica, Colombite,
Granite, Phosphate, Talc, tantalite,
Clay, Silica, Cassiterite (Tin-Ore)
etc. Explorative activities are
still going on to discover and
locate more deposit or sites |
